THE PUZZLE RELAY
The Puzzle Relay mixes real-life scenarios with puzzling fun. When team building at work, there are several stages a team goes through: Forming, Storming, Norming and Performing. We put your group through these phases at a much quicker pace – under the guise of puzzling! We mix up the group repeatedly while continually flexing that team building muscle.
Puzzle Relay meets you at a local Old Town Scottsdale bar or restaurant; we divide the group into teams of 3, 4 or 5 people. During each 25 minute phase we send up to two people (at different times) out on golf carts to find clues (don’t worry, we provide the drivers!) while the remaining members solve a series of puzzles at the table. When the puzzles are complete, we record a team time. Then, everyone switches to a new team – which we control – every round they puzzle with new people! When you include the people in the golf cart, each person meets up to 16 new people. The team building continues long after the Relay, as participants continue to share their experiences after the event has concluded.
A visit to Old Town Scottsdale not in your plans? We can bring the Puzzle Relay to you! Our no golf cart Challenge Option finds teams competing for clues instead of riding for clues, and can be done at your location.

THE AFTER ACTION REPORT
When your Puzzle Relay is completed, you have the option of one of our Master Puzzlemasters sitting down with company stakeholders and sharing our analysis of your team by teaching you how to read the data your team just created.
The After Action Report can identify the company culture, how management is perceived, who are superstars in the making and (occasionally!) if you have a bad apple. This proprietary system was developed with the help of psychologists and members of MENSA, and is often the favorite part of a Relay!

TEAM MEAL OPTIONS
Puzzle Relays are EASILY mixed with lunch or dinner for your team! Appetizers can be served alongside our puzzles, and lunch or dinner can be prearranged to bookend your Puzzle Relay. We work with over a dozen different locations that serve fantastic food – we listen to your needs and preferences and match you to three potential locations. Once you pick your perfect spot – we make the reservation and then connect you directly to the Food and Beverage Manager so that everything can be arranged in advance. We make it easy to keep your group happy and fed!

PUZZLE RIDES
Treat your team to an experience they’ll never forget – a Puzzle Ride in Old Town Scottsdale that they’ll talk about for days!
Groups of 15 or less can pick from any of our rides and RACE to the finish! Hijacked by Science and Wild West Heist Puzzle Rides see your team compete side by side in our 5 passenger golf carts. The adrenaline is high and you’ll be smarter because of it!
Groups of 20 or less can ARGHuably have a shipload of fun on the “high seas” of Old Town with our Pirates Treasure Adventure! Teambuilding begins BEFORE the ride, as teams pick their crew, elect a Captain, choose a First Mate and name their trusty ship. Arrive in Pirate Garb and sail away towards fun! Want some silly fun? Our Scooby Doo-inspired Ghost Riders is only available after dark! One either ride, groups start off by riding side by side before veering off in different directions. The final location is the same, and the first team to find the final item wins!
Groups of 25 or less have two “Amazing Race” style rides to pick from: Copper Canyon Caper (which explores Arizona History) or Time Trap Escape (where you have to rescue an astronaut stuck in a Time Trap, opening SOON!) Both rides utilize a shotgun-style start in which teams head off to different parts of the route, solving the same puzzles…just in a different order. The first team to the final location wins…but you have no idea which place you are in until you arrive!

Time: 75 or 90 minutes to solve

PUZZLING PUB CRAWLS
Ready for fun? Take your team on a Puzzling Pub Crawl and experience the most unique team building in Scottsdale, AZ! We visit three to four local bars, where you have to “think to drink!” by solving our puzzles.
Perfect for the smaller team, our Pub Crawls cater to the group who wants to solve a mystery, play with puzzles or just love to complete jigsaws! Enjoy some out of the way pubs as we give you an exclusive look at Old Town’s bar scene away from the Entertainment District!
