Clues & Cocktails by Puzzle Rides is our new, year-round alternative to pub crawls: a hosted, escape-room-style whodunnit held in one reserved location—no golf carts, no hopping around, and no weather drama. We replaced pub crawls because guests want time to eat and drink during the experience, we needed a guaranteed reserved spot, and we wanted to go deeper into the puzzles without rushing between stops. In Scottsdale, Clues & Cocktails is hosted at One Handsome Bastard (indoors or outdoors). In Prescott, locations vary by season. Expect a fun time out with friends, a birthday group, or a team social—more story, more clues, more teamwork, and more time solving. Groups of 4–12. All experiences are puzzle or murder-mystery themed, and more cases are coming soon. Perfect for beating the heat in Scottsdale and the cold in Prescott—offered all year.
MURDER AT 30,000 MYSTERY
OUR CLASSIC MURDER MYSTERY!
Welcome aboard… and buckle up. Aivry Stone has been murdered mid-flight, and the only way to uncover the truth is to work the evidence — one lock at a time.
Murder at 30,000 Feet is an escape-room-style murder mystery experience where your table becomes the investigation. You’ll solve puzzles, uncover clues, and open a series of locks as the story unfolds. Your Puzzle Rides host facilitates the entire experience, keeps your group moving, and guides you through the big reveals.
This Clues & Cocktails experience is held at One Handsome Bastard, a craft distillery known for house-made gin and vodka and a craft kitchen menu. Choose an indoor table or enjoy the patio — either way, you’ll be solving a murder with a drink in hand.

The European Belle Murder
COMING SOON: European Belle Murders is a glamorous 1930s whodunnit set aboard the luxury cruise ship European Belle—where suspicious “accidents” and dangerous deeds are piling up fast. Your group will step into character, trade alibis, uncover secrets, and follow the clues to expose the killer before the night is over.
This is a hosted, facilitator-led Clues & Cocktails experience designed for 5–12 players. The cast includes an equal mix of roles (male, female, and flexible-gender characters), plus a dedicated host role—Al Laboard—who guides the evening as a participant (and is not a suspect). The victim is not one of your guests, and the full setup and flow are clearly explained during the experience. BONUS: Eat dinner while enjoying this event!

We’ve teamed up with fellow Puzzlemasters in the United Kingdom at Puzzle Post to bring you their top puzzles! This puzzle has a double of every set of clues, allowing you to work together as one large group OR splitting your group into two and competing to see who solves the mystery first.

THE SCANDAL – A sports photographer has stumbled across a story of match-fixing and blackmail at the Marseille Tennis Championships. A bank of files and documents are being used to threaten a leading tennis star; they need your help to disrupt the plan!
THE DECEIT– A successful TV chef has been betrayed, but by who? Her reputation’s on the line and her fortune is in jeopardy – she knows where the secrets are hidden but she needs your help to find them.
All alcohol and drinks are purchased separately, and must be 21 years old to participate. Please note that there are two DIFFERENT puzzles to choose from!
