What is the minimum age for children to participate?

Children must be at least 8 years old to participate in all rides. Arizona car seat law also requires children under 8 to be 4’9″ tall to ride in the carts.

Do children need to be accompanied by an adult?

Yes. All participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paid parent or guardian. One adult is required for every four children on each cart.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes. All rides must be booked at least one day in advance. Same-day bookings may be available with up to a $50 surcharge.

Is Enhanced Refund Protection available?

Yes. Enhanced Refund Protection can be purchased at checkout for an additional cost. Be sure to read all terms and conditions before purchasing.

Is alcohol allowed on Puzzle Rides?

No alcohol is allowed on regular Puzzle Rides. However, our Puzzling Pub Crawls are designed for the 21+ crowd and include stops at local bars.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! Hidden discounts are available throughout our website. Find the coupon codes on our pages and enter them at checkout to claim your special discount.

What is your weather policy?

We only cancel rides if roads are impassable due to severe weather such as blizzards, snowstorms, or haboobs. In all other cases, rides continue as scheduled.

Should we tip our PuzzleMaster?

Yes. Tips are not included in the ride price. PuzzleMasters work hard to make your experience fun and memorable, and gratuity of 10–20% is customary for private tours.

Q: Is there a weight limit?

Yes. Golf carts have a combined weight limit of 1,250 pounds including the driver. All guests must wear a seatbelt. Extenders are available, but if a seatbelt cannot be fastened securely, we cannot accommodate the rider. A voucher for a future ride will be provided.

Ahoy, matey! A legendary pirate’s treasure, hidden deep within the desert of Old Town Scottsdale, is waiting to be found. Don your best pirate garb and set sail on a swashbuckling, golf cart adventure to follow the old sea dog’s map. Solve nautical riddles, decipher pirate clues, and follow the trail of gold!

What’s My Mission?

Your mission is a fun-filled scavenger hunt to uncover the lost booty. Teams must work together to crack pirate-themed clues at several stops throughout Old Town. You’ll need cooperation, a keen eye, and a loud “ARRRGGGHHH!” to solve the final mystery and claim the treasure.

This is an imaginative, easy-to-moderate puzzle experience designed for lighthearted fun.

Families with Young Children: With a 2/5 difficulty, the puzzles are accessible and fun for children aged 8 and up. This ride is highly interactive and perfect for a shared family experience.
Birthday Parties & Celebrations: An excellent choice for kid or adult birthdays, offering a memorable, themed adventure with costumes, team challenges, and a grand treasure reveal.

How It Works

Teams embark on a pirate quest to navigate puzzle stops throughout Old Town Scottsdale, working together to solve clues and race to uncover the final hidden treasure.

How do I Book?

To book your Scottsdale puzzle tour, choose your group size below. This tour is perfect for private groups of up to 25 people.

Groups of 3–10 people: Use the calendar to view availability and reserve your spot online for this golf cart adventure.
Groups of 11 or more: Your private group will be divided into teams of five or fewer. Please call us directly at (602) 601-2261 to arrange your custom tour.

Children must be 8 years old to participate on all rides. No children under the age of 8 are allowed to ride on the carts per Arizona car seat law unless they are 4’9″ tall.

On all rides, children under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by a paid participating parent or guardian. We require one adult per four children on every cart.

All rides must be booked one day in advance. Up to $50 surcharge for same-day bookings.
